Rishi Kapoor Death: Mumbai Police Pays Heartfelt Tribute To The Veteran Actor: 'You Shall Forever Remain ‘Not Out’ In Our Hearts'
A day after the heartbreaking news of Irrfan Khan’s death, came the news of veteran actor Rishi Kapoor’s demise. Rishi Kapoor breathed his last this morning, on April 30, 2020, at 8.45 am. He was admitted to Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital on Wednesday morning. His friends from the industry Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Rajinikanth, and others took to their social media and grieved the huge loss. Mumbai Police also expressed their grief over Rishi Kapoor’s demise and paid a heartfelt tribute to the veteran actor.

Mumbai Police took to their social media and shared a picture of Rishi Kapoor which had ‘Hoga Tumse Pyara Kaun’ written on it. This is a very popular song from Rishi Kapoor’s movie Zamaane Ko Dikhana Hai. The caption for the post read, “'Om Shanti Om! Shanti Shanti Om!' You shall forever remain ‘Not Out’ in our hearts. #RIPRishiKapoor” Rishi Kapoor was famously known for his romantic roles over the many years, and some of his most famous films include Karz, Bobby, Chandni, Amar Akbar Anthony. Rishi Kapoor was last seen in the thriller film ‘Body’.   

Referencing Rishi Kapoor’s movies over the years, Mumbai Police further tweeted in Marathi, “फुड-फिल्मस-फ्रेंड्स चा "दिवाना" असणारा, "खेल खेल मे", "हम किसीसे कम नहीं" बोलणारा, "सागर" ची "सरगम" गाणारा, "बॉबी" बनून "बोल राधा बोल" म्हणणारा, "लव्ह आज कल" च्या "अग्निपथ" वर चालणारा.... आज सगळ्यांना "कर्ज" मधे ठेवून परदेसी हो गया... #RIPRishiKapoor #RIPLegend.” Take  a look:


Rishi Kapoor was diagnosed with cancer in 2018, and he was undergoing treatment in New York, and returned to India after his treatment in September 2019. His last rite will be performed at Chandanwadi Crematorium in Marine Lines, Mumbai.
